Paddleboard & Kayak Rentals
Explore the Belgrade Lakes area at your own pace with our convenient paddleboard and kayak rentals. Delivered directly to your location, it’s the perfect way to enjoy Maine’s serene waters.
- 2 Night Minimum for all rentals. Extra days can be added at booking.
- Free delivery and pick up at your location on any of the 7 Belgrade Lakes (North Pond, East Pond, McGrath Pond, Salmon Lake, Messalonskee, Great Pond and Long Pond). All other lakes will incur a $.65 a mile delivery charge from our location (round trip) for both delivery and pick up. No customer pick-ups.
- Everything you need: All rentals include paddle, leash, PFD, and board or kayak.
Sunset Cruises
Experience the breathtaking sunsets of Great Pond aboard our luxurious Mastercraft X22. With its open floor plan and cozy rear-facing seats at the stern, it’s the perfect spot to soak in the lake’s evening glow. For those cooler nights, our boat also features heating hoses to keep you warm and comfortable.
Cruises begin 60 minutes before sunset and return to the dock 30 minutes after, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the golden hour. Please note, Maine state law requires all children 10 and under to wear life jackets while aboard. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, spending time with friends, or just looking to relax, this sunset cruise is an unforgettable way to experience the magic of Maine.

Safety
At Central Maine Surf Company, we’re all about sharing the joy of playing on the water—but safety always comes first. Fun is only fun if it’s safe! That’s why safety is a core value in everything we do. Every CMSC staff member has passed a US Coast Guard-approved Boater Safety Course and is certified in CPR and First Aid. Plus, Brent is a Registered Maine Guide—a highly respected designation in outdoor recreation, recognized worldwide for expertise and a commitment to safety. We work hard to make your time with us the safest and most enjoyable part of your vacation.
To ensure everyone’s well-being, personal flotation devices (PFDs) are required for all activities. If you have your own US Coast Guard-approved PFD, feel free to bring it along. If not, no worries—we’ll provide one for you. Additionally, Maine law requires children 10 years and under to wear a life jacket at all times while on the boat.
For foiling activities, such as eFoiling, tow foiling, or foil surfing, helmets are required due to the added risks associated with these sports. With our top-notch equipment, expert staff, and focus on safety, you can relax and focus on having an amazing time on the water!
